Chrysler Portal Concept - Engineering
An all-electric vehicle, the Chrysler Portal concept is propelled by a single electric motor (150 kw/201 hp) driving the front wheels

20 minutes
A lithium-ion battery pack, around 100 kWh, integrated into the vehicle chassis, increases structural rigidity and provides a low center of gravity, enhancing handling and ride comfort
Located at the front of the vehicle, uses the Combined Charging System (CCS) for energy and communication between the vehicle and EV Supply Equipment (EVSE) for DC Fast Charging
DC Fast Charging enables the battery pack to be charged with 150 miles of range in less than 20 minutes. The Chrysler winged-badge serves as a charging indicator light
The Chrysler Portal concept is equipped with Level Three autonomy and the driver has the option to turn driving control over to the vehicle under certain highway driving situations
The vehicle is equipped with an array of sensor technologies (lidar/radar/sonar/vision) that constantly monitor conditions outside and inside the vehicle
The Chrysler Portal concept’s sensors and computing power can be upgraded to provide higher levels of autonomy as technology progresses
